Tamara Callens is an award-winning American artist painting in the North West.  She favors dramatic and yet intimate compositions that feature shimmering color harmonies and painterly brushwork.  Tamara's luminous oils reflect clarity of vision, passion, and a spiritual focus,  She has exhibited widely in many juried national plein air shows such as the Yellowstone Invitational and also with the Oil Painters of America in Santa Fe, NM and Jackson Hole WY..  Her awards include those from OPA          and the Munn Award from the Versailles Foundation of New York City which allowed her to reside and paint at Giverny, Monet's home. She recently had a solo exhibition entitled Rumination at the Salmagundi Club in NYC.
