John N Booth
John N Booth is both a painter and a musician.  He has exhibited nationally through Oil Painters of America where he is a signature member, American Artists Professional League, Bosque Conservatory, American Academy of Equine Art and more.  He has won national awards including a Gold Medal for Best Oil Painting from the Bosque Conservatory, a Newington Award - Best in Show from the American Artists Professional League, an Award of Excellence from Oil Painters of America and most recently a First Place for Still Life in Artist Magazine's 40th Annual Competition. He was also featured with a full length interview in their Fortieth Anniversary issue, January 2024.  In that interview he remarked,
"The biggest influences in my life as a creative artist have always been the masters, both old and new.  And not just great painters, but also great composers.  I usually have music playing as I paint.  Mozart's piano concertos are wonderful, inspiring pieces that never fail to get me excited about a new journey on the blank canvas staring at me."  Mr Booth specializes in both figure painting and portraits as well as still life and equine subjects.
